The Entity of Black Love

A bond between friends

A bond between sisters

A bond between brothers

A bond between sis and bruv

A bond between mother and daughter

A bond between father and son

A bond between mother and son

A bond between father and daughter

A bond between grandparents and

grandkids

A bond between in-laws

A bond between lovers, partners, best

friends

A bond between kings and queens

A bond between gods and goddesses

A bond

Only entities of major threat are sought to be manipulated by every sector of society because when we realize our true power there will be no stopping us.

"BLACK"

Against all odds we fight.

They tore us down, we fought.

They demolished our dreams, we built it

back up.

From a society built against us we

thrive, we survive, and we became ride

or die.

BLACK LOVE.

When palms touch and hearts meld, the

Black Love is infinitely intertwined.

It is intersectionally divine.

Man, woman, and child.

The black love

They say it doesn’t exist

They say it’s harsh

They say it’s hard

They say the Black Woman is feisty

They say the Black Man is a deadbeat

They say we can’t build empires

They say we can’t create kingdoms

They say the Black Man desires

submission

They say the Black Woman will not

submit

They say the Black Man is unambitious

They say the Black Woman is too

ambitious

They call the frustrations of a Black

Mother baby mama drama

They say Black Kids are unwanted

They say the Black Woman is angry

They say the Black Man is a thug

And that’s why the Black Families can’t

know real love

Statistics state that Black Love of the

21st century is filled with hordes of black men and women who disregard

sexual purity and the sanctity of

marriage.

Is this true, Black Man?

Is this true, Black Woman?

Is this true, Black child?

Not so, Black People!
For 400 plus years we have been made

to believe that we were powerless. That somehow our melanated skin and fine

wool hair, that the hearts that beat within our chest, were of lesser value.

Our families were torn apart and we were pinned against one another.

The old against the young

Mother against daughter

Father against son

Friends turned to foes

Man against woman

Light skin vs dark skin

What were we thinking

We weren’t thinking.

We were blinded by our empathetic

natures.

Not knowing they would crush us no matter the shade of brown.

Deep dark to light hues, all they did was play me and you.

We allowed ourselves to be infiltrated by white lies.

And it is time.

It is time to take back the power we were born to yield.

It is time for the Black Man to water the power plant of a Black Woman, the goddess of the earth, sun, and sea, as true as the God who is seated boldly beside her.

Black Love births kings and queens to rule, to build, and to grow.

Black Love creates from nothing everything, the beam of sunlight that shines on our faces creating a radiant glow meant to sear the eyes of those who frown upon us.

The Black Love is support

It is kindness

It is honesty

It is friendship

It is the sunshine and river wata weh flow from the mountains in Jamaica

It is soul food and soul music

It is afro beats and hip hop

Old time blues and soft rock

It is classically orchestrated

The Black Love is blue seas and brown earth

It is green leaves and childbirth

The Black Love is everything beautiful

And beauty is the entity of Blackness.
